Benefits
A car battery is not something to be ignored. If unchecked, you'll need a jump-start faster than you think, and getting stranded and stuck on the side of the road is on no one's daily agenda. The battery is so important because it interacts with many other parts and components in your vehicle than you think. Plus, if your battery is damaged, it can harm other parts of the car. If poorly maintained, your car battery can completely shut your vehicle down until you replace it.

When should I get it?
A car battery may last three to five years, but that isn't always optimal for your car. After three years, it's considered an old-timer from wear and tear and everyday usage. If you are keeping your battery healthy and regularly getting it checked and maintained, it can last longer than three years. Batteries experience breakdown from factors beyond usage, such as driving habits and weather conditions.

What is it?
A battery's primary usage is to provide an electric current to the electric-powered starting motor, creating the internal combustion engine that moves the car. In addition to running the engine, the car battery also provides power to the electrical system. The alternator provides a charge to the battery as more or less is required.

Why is it important?
Your car battery provides the zap of electricity needed to put electrical components to work. It converts chemical into electrical energy, powers your car, and delivers voltage to its starter. It also stabilizes the voltage (a.k.a. energy supply) that keeps your engine running.

How to know if I need it?
Multiple warning signals determine if your battery is old or experiencing problems. Two common signs are a check engine light or your engine struggling to turn over. To see how old the battery is, look at the date printed on it.
How long will the battery last?
Typically a car battery will last anywhere between three to five years. It can depend based on usage.

Why do this with us?
